States have never had the funding to provide technical assistance to much more than low performing schools and districts, and with continuing constraints in state budgets, states will be challenged by how best to positively impact more schools and districts. Web-based technical assistance is one way to provide quality resources to all educators for a fraction of the cost in disseminating these same resources in traditional staff development and/or paper documents. Web-based technical assistance is one way to provide all educators and other stakeholders simultaneous access to guidance and resources.
